go get it takenout
Reply:cover it with bees wax
Reply:unfortunatly there is not to much you could do CALL your doctor
Reply:Take a toothpick and some Lysol. Drop by drop enter the chemical into the cavity and don't swallow. The bone bacteria can spread so fast if not controlled. In a restaurant just use a salt pack to control the germs.
Reply:There is a temporary filling kit you can buy in most stores, it's like a putty you make into a ball and fill in the broken area of the tooth it should help. don't use any other substance.
Reply:Not really. I've seen some stuff at pharmacy's, like a "do-it-yourself" temporary filling that you could maybe get and pack it with. Funny (well, not really!), was just at dentist 2 days ago....broke off the back of a tooth (next to 1st bottom molar) a couple months ago and just went to have, what the dentist called, a "fancy temporary" filling. I wasn't in pain, because many years ago I had a root canal there %26amp; the previous dentist didn't put a post in and "cap" it, which will have to be done.....a little $1,200. job....thus my temp filling......
Reply:as long as you don't have any infection you can get some temporary filling material from wal-mart. I don't remember the name of it, but it is by the toothache gel. It is just a temporary fix and should never be used in place of real dentistry.

Good luck! Oh, and don't forget to rinse your mouth with either salt water or listerine first!!
Reply:Rinse your mouth out with mouthwash and/or saltwater to keep infection down. If need be call and ask your dentist or whoever you made the appointment with what to do about it.
Reply:Most discount stores and drug stores have a temporary filling kit in their dental section. It is fairly inexpensive and will work until you get into the dentist.

The only down side to the temporary filling solution is you may have to replace it several times a day.
