My daughter just got crowns on her front top teeth.?

is there an infection she can get? her father had said that he heard the dental assist say something like she can get an infection? but i dont recall her something anything. all i heard her say was if she eats apples or carrots or hard things that i should cut them into pieces and have her chew with her back teeth cuz it could break. can some1 clear this up for me? my daughter is 2 1/2 years old. thanks

If her anterior teeth were crowned, they were probably in bad shape. Perhaps she meant to watch for an infection. If there is redness or puffiness possibly with pain, you should contact then because an abscess has formed.

Not sure what was meant about cutting things up unless she meant until the gums have healed. Gummy, sticky things can pull crown off so be cautious of those.
