My 5 year old fell and broke his 4 front teeth, had to have them pulled when will his grown up teeth come in?

Yes, they will come in normally. When my niece fell of the monkey bars at a park, she knocked out her two front teeth. (She was 5 at the time) She is now eight and she looks comletely normal. The teeth didn't come in any differently then they would have if she had lost them naturally.

don't have them pulled out because it will remove the path of the permanent teeth during its erruption stage. in about a year your child will be getting his permanent teeth.
Reply:His teeth will arrive normally, time wise. However because of the trauma, his teeth wont follow their normal placement. He will either look like a retarded beaver or it will look like he could eat an apple through a tennis racket. $5,000 braces should take care of that. Sorry, you cant buy used braces
Reply:No fear, my little one is 5 1/2 and has no front teeth either. He has no permanent damage and the dentist said they will grow back in at the normal time (usually around age 6-7) He hasn't had any front teeth for close to 3 years now (he's a bruiser and lost 2 falling down the stairs and 1 he knocked out while riding his scooter)
Reply:Okay, usually children lose their anterior (front) teeth around the age of 6 or 7. The posterior teeth usually come out around 10. I assume it's the front teeth that are removed, so within the next 1 to 2 years they'll be growing back. It's fine. My younger sister had bottle rot, her teeth came back around the age of 6. Just make sure he is still able to eat fine.
Reply:his teeth would have fallen out around age 7 and new ones would then begin to grow in, it is not that premature so I would not worry too much about it-

As for them growing in all "retarded" this is not necessarily true, there may be no damage done or any difference. And if he does need braces in the future, he may have ended up needing them anyway-

Your son will be just fine.
