Can you use crest whitestrips on "bonded" teeth?

in 5th grade i hit my 2 front teeth on a seesaw and i broke them to the point where it looked like and A between my 2 teeth so i went to the dentist, and he bonded them to make the teeth look like new..if i used crest white strips or any other type, would my regular teeth just get white and the bonded part of the 2 front ones stay the same? or would it work all around? help.

Any type of whitening will only work on the tooth surface itself, not on any type of filling material or crown.

So the bonded area will not change, only the tooth surface exposed to the bleach will change.
Reply:I'm looking at the little instruction pamphlet that comes inside the box and it says: "Crest Whitestrips Premium will only whiten natural teeth. It will not whiten caps, crowns, veneers, fillings or dentures. Whitestrips should not harm most dental work."

If the bonded part of your teeth are really white (or at least whiter than your natural teeth,) then it's perfectly fine to use whitestrips around them to bring the teeth back to a whiter shade. If they currently match your teeth, then whitestrips may not be a good idea, as there will be a color difference once the natural teeth have been lightened, since the resin will stay the same color.
Reply:no, you cant whiten them at home but if you go to your dentist he can whiten them with certain chemicals.
