Is it too late to start caring for my teeth?

i'm 27 yrs old, n both my top front teeth are chipped, and one of my bottom front ones is broken off. i'm very self concious about my smile. i have two questions. is there any way short of dentures that i can get natural looking teeth, and is it too late to start caring for my other, undamaged teeth?

Is it too late to start caring for my teeth?
No it's not too late to start caring for your teeth. I'm a dental assistant, you can get composite bonding on all chipped teeth then when you can afford it you can get crowns which are much better. I had a chipped tooth I had composite bonding on them for 9yrs now. Hope I helped!
Reply:Why are you asking us instead of a dentist?
Reply:Not too late if your gums are still in good shape.
Reply:you can get caps, and it is never too late to start caring for your teeth
Reply:Are you bulemic? Why are your teeth chipping off?

It's never too late to start caring for them but it's going to cost you a pretty penny to have them fixed.
Reply:There are cosmetic dentistry options to repair your broken teeth. They are not cheap, but neither are dentures. You need to find a good, compassionate dentist who can help you evaluate your teeth. You need to have regular cleanings and to understand how to best take care of your teeth and gums. You can get caps or veneers to repair your broken teeth (depending on the extent of the damage) which can make your smile better than ever. This is money well spent, because it will make you more confident, which will help you in both your professional and social life. It is never too late to take care of your smile. You may want to ask friends to recommend good dentists. Make sure you find one you are comfortable with. If finances are tight, some dentists will help you by setting up payment plans. So keep looking until you find the right dentist for you.

PS Ask the dentist about fluoride treatments or sealing to help strengthen your enamel. Dentistry has come so far in recent years. There is no reason for you to suffer from having bad looking teeth. My front teeth started to chip (not from anything I did wrong but just weakening from years of use) and my dentist was able to make them look good as new.
Reply:Nope, it's not too late. Cosmetic dentistry can do a lot. Get to the dentist ASAP to get your teeth cleaned and get a good dental program goin' on.

It's well worth the effort...
Reply:It's never too late to start caring for your teeth..Just think of this the more you allow this to go further the more your teeth will loose its health and the worst thing may happen is that you could totally loose those teeth so go ahead to your dentist your not old for a treatment..The dentist will depend upon your answer i think they will ask you if you want it to be pulled out and replaced by removable partial denture or you choose to conserve it,they might do some fixed partial denture if your teeth can still offer a good support..It will be back to normal dentures are not for old age only there dentures for several missing teeth which will be based on your natural tooth color and shape,size..i hope i give you some points to ponder,i hope you go now to a dentist it will be fine,ITS NOT YET LATE!!
Reply:NO IT'S NEVER TO LATE TO START TREATING YOUR TEETH, UNLESS U LOST THEM ALL, LOL. BUT THEN AGAIN U WOULD HAVE TO TREAT YOUR MOUTH WITH DENTURES. SO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND STICK WITH THE TREATMENT THE DENTIST ADVICES U. FIRST A CLEANING, IF U HAVE ALOT OF TARTAR U MIGHT HAVE TO DO YOUR CLEANING IN 3-4 VISITS, THEN THE CAVITIES OR TOOTH PULLING, ONCE ALL THIS IS COMPLETED ANY PARTIALS OR DENTURES. GOOD LUCK! AND KEEP YOUR DENTAL APPOINTMENTS.
Reply:its never too late to start looking after theM!
Reply:It's never too late. There was a time in dentistry when your dentist didn't have to sell you something. You don't need "cosmetic dentistry", You just need a good old fashioned restorative dentist, they will be able to put on good old crown, composite, and whatever you need. to get your teeth right again. As far as if it is too late? Yes it depends on the state of your gums and how much underlying bone you have.

Normally bone does not really kick in until your mid to late 30's given a history of poor dental care.
Reply:It's never too late! Yes, you can get bonding done, which will look very natural, and just adds porcelain to your own teeth to make them look better. Many people get veneers done for the same reason.
