What is the difference between a broken bracket and a loose bracket?

If a bracket is partially attached to your tooth by the glue but it can be like lifted up off of your tooth, it's loose, right? So if it's broken, does that mean that it's completely off your tooth? Or that it actually like broke in half?

Right. If your's is like that..as soon as you get a chance I'd go see your Orthodontist to repair it for you. It's no big deal..happened to me before. And I have to get another one repaired soon =]. For me, it doesn't cost any extra. But I'm not sure with your's. It most likely won't. Just contact them and ask if it's okay for you to just come on over for them to fix it and they will. :]
Reply:~Im NOT trying to be funny Sweetheart:

one is broken (and yes, it cost to repair.)

and one is loose, (no cost to tighten).
Reply:it in a sense is broken because if it were attached it wouldnt be loose and why run around with something loose. if you head is loose from your head does your brain work? no because your head is broken off your body.
Reply:well the loose bracket will eventually come off

and the broken backet, well you will have to see

an orthodonix and get it removed,

then you will have to get it replaced

with a new one

witch

will cost:

$30 per. broken bracket...

so i'd be VERY careful!
