My baby's first teeth normal?

My daughter is 8 months and her bottom teeth have finally broken through. In feeling them, they are pretty sharp! No wonder babies get cranky...

I'm wondering, is the sharpness normal? I was so surprised they are like tiny knives.

My baby's first teeth normal?

Reply:Yes it's normal!! My son actually drew blood when he got his first teeth!!! He bit me and made tiny little holes in my finger!! So don't let her bite you!! It hurts something awful!!!
Reply:Yes, baby's teeth are really sharp and it's normal. I remember when I first felt my daughter's two bottom, they were very sharp. That's why they chew on things. Give her things to chew on so that it grinds it down. I am also breastfeeding her...so you know what I have to go through sometimes!!! Painful!
Reply:Baby's teeth are miniature razor blades. I found out my son had teeth when one day I let him put my finger in his mouth (which he did on a regular basis) to my surprise he had a little treat for me. He thought it was funny when I screamed. I didn't.
