My dad's teeth is starting to become thinner and breaking easily??
mineral defficiency, bad diet, drinking colas and softdrinks and too much coffee can start wearing down tooth enamel.Your dad needs to make sure he is getting adequate calcium through a variety of non-dairy sources.Such as figs, soybeans, fortified juices,or fortified non-dairy milks, sesame seeds, broccoli and other green vegetables. He can also take a high qaulity calcium/magnesium supplement and a good multi-vitamin/mineral.Stop brushing teeth with flouride and replace with an herbal toothpaste that is flouride free.
Reply:you may want to check with a dentist
Reply:lack of calcium and flouride
Reply:well u could get him fake teeth just a suggestion..and I have no clue what the cause could be I could ask my mom she works in the hospital and Ill get back at u...hope this helps
Reply:If milk is a problem, he should drink orange juice for calcium.
Reply:GO TO THE DENTIST!!!! I cannot expres that anymore, take him to the dentist first thing tomorrow!!!!
Reply:Best thing to do is get him an appointment with a dentist and take him in for xrays and an exam. The dentist will sit down with you and your dad and go over a treatment plan with you both.
Reply:It sounds as if your dad has something going on internally, i.e. lack of calcium, vitamins etc. My mother went through the same thing.

You need to have your dad go to the dentist, he may need to take supplements and/or have special treatments
Reply:I think it is called Pyorrhea,I had this and my teeth became thin,my teeth were breaking off,my gums hurt all the time, and they would bleed when I brushed them. If this is what it is,he needs to go to the Doctor. I had all of my teeth pulled out back in 2000' and believe me I've never felt better.
