When did your baby get his teeth beyond the first 4?

My son is 7 months old and has his bottom 2 and top 2 teeth. The other night he woke every 2 hours (never completely) and has been fussy, drooling, less appetite, etc. so I assumed some more are coming, but there is no sign on his gums when I look or when I feel. How long ahead of time can the symptoms appear before the teeth start to break through and which ones should come next so I know where to look?

When did your baby get his teeth beyond the first 4?
Each baby developes at his/her own pace..... Yours could be starting with the two upper ones now, or maybe more.... mine got his first tooth @ 6 months, then came 3 top ones 3 weeks later, then a week later the fourth top along with the third lower. He just got his fourth bottom one 2 weeks ago, and he is 11 months now....so GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

All you can do is try to make him comfortable by using oragels (if they work for yours, as they didn't for mine). Tylenol worked well for the pain with mine along with the fluid filled teething ring.

Good luck
Reply:my sons five months and has five teeth. he got the first three at four months. he was drooling alot. the bottoms came first then the top. im not sure how long it takes for symptoms to appear.
Reply:My son had a mouthful by that age, but he is not an average child. He started rolling over at three days old....
Reply:it think it depends on the baby.... my son got his first 4 between 5 and 6 months ... and then ... nothing... he is just now getting 2 more on the lower and he is 16 months old!!!!!!
Reply:With my youngest she will be teething for weeks before any sign of a tooth.
