My tooth has broken and .....?
You must go to the dentist.

Ask your family and friends who they go to. They should be able to recommend a dentist that they would be happy to see. (If they let their children go there, it must be a nice place with kind, caring dentists)

If you have exposed the nerve, the tooth really cannot be treated with a temporary repair kit. You will not be able to pull the tooth out yourself as it is broken already and the roots are very firmly attached into the jawbone. Please don't try it.

Dentists are used to seeing patients who are nervous, so do not hesitate to go there and get some help.

Let us know how you get on.

Reply:You have no other options and you would never be able to pull it yourself. The root is attached to other structures under the surface. You'd have to virtually butcher yourself. A dentist is your only option. Why can't you go?
Reply:I hate dentists, needed tooth pulling out not long ago, was crapping myself while there, but well worth it when the sod came out! Just Go!
Reply:Please go to a dentist. If you are in the United States you need to go to a dentist office and have them at least LOOK at it. This is a serious medical issue and a doctor needs to examine the tooth, otherwise you could get an infection, dry socket or worse. Unless you want "gum rot" which won't kill you, but will cause your teeth to fall out and your gums to bleed profusely...please go to a Dentist.
Reply:You will have to go to the dentist. If cost is an issue, get to your nearest dental hospital, they will usually provide treatment quickly and cheaply. If it's a fear of the dentist, just think how relieved you'll be to be rid of the pain.

Go, you'll be glad you did.
Reply:go to free clinic at dental school in your state .
Reply:In drug stores like cvs or brooks pharmacy they have this sort of putty that you mix and then put over the exposed area. Then it dries so the air can't get to it. Its a lifesaver for cavities or exposed nerves. It's only short term however, so you should really try and make it to the dentist. Hope this helps!
Reply:Oil of Cloves rubbed in to the tooth may help the soreness around the nerves. Take Nurofen Cold and Flu. These can only be short term answers though, I thought like you that I could do without going to the dentist when a filling fell out, a year filled with tooth aches, short term fixes, and an avoidance of anything too hot or too cold and my jaw around it swelled to the size of a grapefruit and I couldn't function from the dull aching pain. The only thing that fixed it (rather than an hour long procedure costing two hundred pounds) was three sessions of very painful and invasive root canal surgery costing about two thousand pounds.
Reply:i think you should go to the store and get some 'anbesol' gell, and some clove oil - apply to the tooth and gum and these should help. also, maybe some advil type medicine
