Wisdom teeth extraction?

I'm getting my top 2 and bottom 1 (I dont have the other bottom one) wisdom teeth out on December 19th. 2 have broken the skin and the other hasn't. What should I expect during the surgery, and do you think I will feel ok come christmas?

you will be fine. the extraction will only take about a half hour. the oral surgeon will probably prescribe some vicodin for pain. the healing process will be 7-14days but the pain should subside within 24-48 hours after the extraction.

Reply:You'll be fine. Just get and take the pain killer medication. If you don't, you're gonna feel like you died and went to hell.
Reply:I had all four of mine pulled yesterday morning. I was really sore yesterday, thank god for painkillers. The dentist gave me loratab. I was slightly sore this morning but nothing like yesterday. You should be okay by Christmas. I feel like I'm going to be okay by tomorrow. I was worried about if I was going to be able to eat Thankgiving dinner, but I think I can eat what I want now. I will probably avoid crunchy foods like chips and such for a few more days though. The bottom teeth usually take a little more effort to come out than the top ones. Both of the top ones came out in about 1 min. I had mine extracted in the office while awake, and besides some pressure I didn't feel a thing. Good luck.

Reply:I think you'll be fine by Christmas. You might still have some swelling or bruising by Christmas, maybe even a little bit of pain or soreness where the wisdom teeth used to be, but other than that...
