Hello to Dentists! I had a lower porcelain crown done on one of my lower teeth overseas. It broke-while I ate.

The porcelain crown broke into two and I am able to repair the tooth using a Selleys Porcelain Repair Kit. The kit is a two tube repair skirting gun that mixes equally. Once the shell is repaired via glue I will be able to place the shell over the tooth. Therefore the shell will be placed over the filed down tooth. Skirted into the shell will be the same glue used to fix the porcelain shell (a liberal amount). Then the shell will placed over the ground down tooth and held down - compressing the two together.

The product is white epoxy adhesive containing: Part A: 680g/kg liquid epoxy resin/ Part B 530g/kg Amine.

Is there a safer glue. What would Dentists use in Australia? This will be an interim measure until my health insurance is due in 8 months time. Your help and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Reply:go to a qualified dentist
Reply:Cowboy up and go get a new one. The repair will not work in the long run.
